Abrahams Wood, Boars Hill, 28th January 2012

This was our second consecutive visit to Abrahams Wood, Boars Hill. Helped by local residents, members of the Oxford Preservation Trust and young volunteer Matthew, we continued with the task of cutting up and stacking the laurel which had been cut down by contractors. The weather was damp and chilly, but our hard work soon warmed us up.  Eluned provided delicious chocolatey snacks at the tea break and we sang Happy Birthday to Lesley. We finished what had at first seemed quite a daunting task, led by Kevin in his first stint as a session leader. We look forward to coming back and seeing the bluebells in the Spring. - Eleanor Lauren at the gate - Abrahams Wood in the Background Matthew cutting up laurel
